Some cracking stuff there Rob - the Lysander is one of my favourites and I haven't seen it for ages.
One thought though - it looks to me as if you have posted photos over 800 pixels wide and the forum software has re-sized them. This has resulted in aliasing (staircase effect on straight lines). You might get a better effect if you re-sized them before you post them.

Thanks for the advice Oggy. I recently set up a flickr account and posted the images as the large format on Flickr which I now see is too big. However the medium setting on Flickr shows the images on here in a smaller format but the lines are straight though

Rob these are cracking shots. I am so jealous of that prop blur , when I attempted similar shots they all came out totally blur and then I didn't persist.
But now looking at your shots I can understand the importance of bringing that blur out, it gives a more realistic look.
Were all the above shots taken with your DA*300? I am having second thoughts now about selling it
Unfortunately it doesn't work with the MZ30

Great shots again. I like the avro nineteen especially, and am glad I wasn't the enemy in the last shot!

It is an illusion that photos are made with the camera… they are made with the eye, heart and head. Henri Cartier-Bresson
Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

You need one of the MZs that can change the aperture from the body. Bojidar lists the mounts. None with a "crippled" mount will work, the Kaf ones will, not sure about the others. I am sure John can give you the exact low-down from his research into the MZs.Were all the above shots taken with your DA*300? I am having second thoughts now about selling it

The Lysander images here were taken with the Sigma 100-300mm and the rest were taken with the DA*300. Were all the above shots taken with your DA*300? I am having second thoughts now about selling it
Thank you all for your kind comments, it took me a while during the day to get used to the screw-driven Sigma as opposed to the SDM of the 300mm. I think the quality of the Sigma is best shown in number 2

Some very nice shots there, They bring back lots of fond memories! The Anson looks great and the SE5a has got a cracking sky but it`s the Piston Provost that tugs on my heartstrings the most!
Best Regards - Pete.

I'm amazed - I never got any aeroplane in flight picture which was worth posting anywhere They are superb! And with some of them - were you in the air as well? - they look to be so close! (ie #4).
My favourite are #6 and #7, but to be honest I like them all

It just happens that at Old Warden the display line is very close to the crowd so with a 300mm lens you can get some close up images, unlike at the Paris show where you need at least a 400mm lens I'm amazed - I never got any aeroplane in flight picture which was worth posting anywhere They are superb! Just looking at Rob's last pic of the Hurricane, there seem to be a series of rough concentric circles radiating out from the aircraft, most pronounced toward the bottom left quadrant of the picture.
Am I seeing things?
