Still using the 28mm lens, I took these of some hosta leaves. I noticed how the water (rain) droplets looked on the leaves earlier in the year so I sprayed them with a sprayer/mister and took these.
C&C welcome.

On the RPS site there is a section for viewing LRPS, ARPS and FRPS panels.
These obviously include multiple images, some are panels with a theme others are panels of individual images. Personally I dont mind whether there is one image or ten images in a set. I value the comments from members so long may it continue.

I like the bird picture but its not a Thrush. Either a spotted flycatcher (but they dont have such a forked tail) or a female Linnet??
I like all four pics though.

I got round to trying an old lens from my ME-Super days. Its a Sigma F2.8 miniwide 28mm. Any way these are cropped a little but other than that nothing else done to them. What do you think?

I like this image. I like the way the water is faceted makes it look almost like crocodile skin. If the bubbles were abscent it would pass as a close up of the head of a croc with a scary red eye.

Interesting article here http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/raw.htm
At the moment I am shooting raw + jpg.
I find it easier to manipulate the jpg but I have the raw file if needed later.
I suppose as i progress I might change how I do things.

Thanks for the comments and encouragement. The real world camera raw book is available at Amazon for £23 so i'll be getting that.
The data for the pic is :
Focal Length 200mm
F Stop F6.7
Shutter speed 1/180
ISO 200
Aperture Priority
No exposure compensation
sRGB colour space.
I would like a dedicated macro lens (amongst others) but for the moment I will have to stick with what I have, although I do check ebay from time to time in the hope that I spot a real bargain.
