6 is my favourite. The whole set tells a story and I cetainly got a feel of the place and what it must have been like to be there when it was operational.

I have been able to view all three. Great shots but No2 is my fave.

I prefer No 1 too. The horizon/distant trees spoil the other 3 for me.

The best one for me is the colour one above. Nice set of pics.

Having to choose four I would say 3, 5, 6, and 7. They are the ones that I kept going back to for another look. I also like 8.

I have a Vivitar Zoom Thyristor 2500 flash unit. I used this with my old ME Super. The flash has only one connector on the hotshoe and a cable that went to a socket on the ME Super.
Will this work on my K200d? I note that in the Jan issue of the Mag Thomas Shahan uses a 3500 flash on his K200d. I'm not sure of the difference between the 2500 and the 3500 but from the images I have seen they look identical. Does anybody know if this would work or would I be better off getting a Pentax flash unit?

Yes a tighter crop would be better. Thank you for your comments

Off topic a little, near me there is a Kingfisher nest with access on the opposite riverbank. The birds are regularly feeding the young at the moment but they are very fast. Wish I could get a shot as good as yours.
