On the Pentax Rumours site, here is an announcement that Ricoh has temporarily suspended orders for the new GR iii HDF and GR iiix HDF cameras and implemented a lottery system. (Not sure how that will work)
The SRS site shows all of their compact cameras including Ricoh are out of stock. Looks as though they have underestimated the demand!!

I have both the Gr3 and the MX1.
The GR3 is a great camera and lens with the added bonus that the menu is very similar to the new K3 3.
The MX1 is also a fine camera and I agree with John that it was a great shame Pentax did not follow the line.

Great set of mono images.
The GR3 is an excellent camera with four styles of mono available. I personally like the hard monotone.
What mono setting did you use?

I recently came across this site - https://ricohrecipes.com/ricoh-gr-iii-recipes/
and have tried out a few of the suggested settings. These images are inspired by Kodak Ektachrome 100SW and Ektachrome 100GX colour transparency film.
Any views on these images.? They are not terribly good but are straight out of the camera with a bit of cropping. Not sure if they are really similar to the suggested film style!!

I have an optical viewfinder for the GRiii. It was included with my street edition and can assist framing in certain situations (when the screen is washed out) I generally do not use it apart from family shots where usually folks don't mind too much if you are in their face with a camera!!
Very impressive set of images.
The MX1 is a fine camera and whilst it is often referred to as "vintage " it still stacks up well.
I wonder why Pentax did not use this camera as the basis for a mirrorless one and assume there were technical reasons for not exploring that possibility

Another vote for the 16-85 for the reasons already mentioned.
I use other lens but invariably return to it as the versatility and sharpness are excellent
