Im up late, bank holiday weekend but loving these LennyBloke, and all are great photos from the GRiii
No 3 is my fav but that takes nothing away nothing the others.
Just to add I am getting a lone of the original digital GR in its 8.5 MP glory and hope to upload a few photos (street) and close contact, B@W of course

Flan, I am off out today to experiment with my GR set to B/W with R1 filter held over the lens. Had quick experiment yesterday, it seems possible. Watch this space as they say.

Great set of mono images.
The GR3 is an excellent camera with four styles of mono available. I personally like the hard monotone.
What mono setting did you use?

Thanks for all the comments - didn't have the want to take a full Pentax outfit with me for just a 2 day break, so pocketed the incredible GRIII instead I was also at Lake Bala but didn't see a single thing that inspired me to shoot

Thanks Oldhat - I've played around the mono settings in the past but could never find one that suited me fully - so I shoot RAW colour and convert in LightRoom, I find the files from the GR series easy to work with

Like 2 - 4 especially. Very sharp. Doesn't B&W look good?
