Yet the spots remain in the same relative position with lenses

Personally I'd baulk at putting anything cheap near the sensor.

Quite like the thought of an oick though

Another of my hobbies is HiFi, and most of my music is on vinyl. They used to make a "pixall" roller (so called because it was supposed to pick all off the record). It is made from a fairly dense but very compliant rubber. Just the thing.

This thread reminds me of what might happen if Captain Speaking were to get on the airliner intercom and say that there is nothing wrong with the aeroplane

Thanks for the replies.

The dirt is not on the lens (although it may have come from the lens) as it is remains same position on different photos with different lenses.

I have always been a little cagey about blowing dust off, either at work or in my hobbies as I reckon you tend to re-arrange it rather than getting rid of it. I use a HEPA vacuum and put a piece of tube into the vacuum pipe so I have some, but not too much suck.

I think I am going to invest in some of those sticky pads.

I do tend to change lenses a fair bit. Being a newbie to dslrs I experiment quite a bit.

In a perfect world, I'd have one body for my 50-135 DA*, one for my Sigma 150-500 and another for my kit lenses, but that requires 6 numbers on Saturday night

I am having awful problems with dust on the sensor on my K20D. I use the shaker to get rid of it then a couple of days later I get some more.

It always seems to be toward the top left, top right and bottom right corners, although not in the same positions. I am always scrupulous with body and lens caps and covers and do my best to keep things clean.

Any advice?

Do people use the clean on switch-on option?

Thanks for the link BF. 25 seconds into the clip is the power up climb. There is only one sound system that does that justice and it has no speakers or amplifiers, but 4 Rolls Royce Olympi. I can still feel my diaphragm resonating.

Nice picture Galoot.

Over the festive period I thought I'd treat myself to a few bottles of seasonal brew. Waitrose were knocking out these on a four for three offer.

I bought them but when the time came to consume them, was a little dissapointed when I saw 4.3 as I glanced at the bottle.

I took a mouthful and it became apparent that that wash not the pershentage of alcohol hic.

Closher ecshamination revealed that it was 4.3 UNITSH per bottle, or 8.5%

Absolutely delicious, but one bottle constitutes binge drinking and after I had drunk a couple, the bottles were exactly the same shape as yours.
