Garteh that are the songs I talk about, once a week they are fine but not three times every day
This is the Christmas song for years here link
Since most don't know Dutch it would have little meaning
It's about a boy (he) and he has a rabbit called "Flappie".
On 1st Christmas morning 1961 Flappie was gone, and they went searching but he shouldn't look in the shed because he cant be there, and if he went and play on nicely he would get something sweet.
And then it was 1st Christmas evening 1961, and his father walks in with the main course... Flappie the rabbit of course
For the first time he saw his father as the worst man in the world.
Then on 2nd Christmas morning 1961, mother remembers well, fathers bed was empty.
He told to mother that she shouldn't go to the shed and if she would go and play nicely so would get something sweet
Edit: this one is nice link

I went to a carol concert last Friday, and the song I really enjoyed was the mince pie song

Grandma got run over by a reindeer.
Fired many shots. Didn't kill anything.

AARGH [rant]The music everywhere is driving me to distraction. All the sterile nicely plastic packaged american christmas themed rubbish - on tv, inthe shops everywhere. And worst of all I realised why they are playing this drivel. It's because there are no religious references in it. Don't get me wrong, I'm agnostic, but Christmas is not - the clue's in the name.[/rant]
(Takes chill pill)
Ah that's better. I like most of the above and would like to add this (sorry it's a bit cynical.
Oh - and a proper one - here.

Oggy,I agree with (almost) every word of your rant AARGH [rant]The music everywhere is driving me to distraction. But don't get me started on that subject.

At least that is the case here so hopefully you're spared in some countries
Would love to know what you think is the best and worse Christmas song so that we know what to listen to and which ones not.
