My mrs thanks you - she knew it was Brooks but couldn't remember the rest.

Light was very flat and played with that one - I liked the look of the horse when it was slightly de-saturated. The mrs (the horse expert in the house) preferred it as well so left it like that

Not used to trying to get photographs of things that move quicker than a tree.

A day out at Bramham today. Not my normal sort of thing and as it was a family day only took the Sigma 50mm with me. I quite enjoyed it and can see the attraction of going with one of these big fast lenses that everyone was carrying. Quite flat light but a nice day.

They are quite good fun. B&W is cheaper and easier to get than the Lee. Lee look a wonderful system for uwa but a tad expensive, especially if you are prone to falling off the edge of crags.

You've actually tempted me to sell a couple of lenses and go for the 18-135 with that review John. Weather sealing is the key for me above the DA18-250. Only had the 18-250 a couple of weeks but I never go above about 125 with it.

I rather like the starfish and Helen as well. Went for a coffee while I loaded the page

Probably a better reflection of the lens, although to be honest it was more of a trial run to test what it was like.
