Cheers

I'd like to have got to the second last one a few minutes before when the sun hadn't blasted off most of the mist. Could have been a very nice scene. Might go back in the next couple of days if conditions suggest it might be misty again.

The cows are my favourite of the morning.

Decided on an early start this morning to go down to Ullswater for dawn. Not been getting out much lately and keen to try and get back into the habit. The spot I planned for at Ullswater didn't really work out - thats the long exposure at the top. A spot I'd been wanting to try but the 10-20 might not be the best lens for it and perspective is probably too low. On the way home for breakfast I saw there was some mist over towards Lazonby so had a wander over and took the rest of the shots between there and Edenhall. Still made it into work for 7 but a wee bit sleepy now. Can't do these early starts anymore.

I'd agree with Smeggy - but I'd like to isolate the left hand tree. Closer and slightly different angle. Possible to keep the path as a bit of a lead in to the single tree highlighted against the sky from a lowish perspective?

Bugger - Complete numptie. At least I got the date right once.

Stunning - started listing my favourites and realised that was damn near all of them. Wonderful set - amazing character in them.

The level is causing me loads of hassle on the K-5. Never used one before. I now use the horizon leveller thing to get the camera absolutely perfect and the bloody picture looks squint. I'm just going to use my eye from now on and then do whatever in pp to make it look ok.

Evening

Rather a nice spot this for Pentax folk.

Excellent. A real bleak feel.
