I'm not accepting offers. Amazon more or less gave those lenses away at that price. I'm not prepared to do the same.

I'd suggest you go with whatever you have to choose from.

Thanks for your interest.

I think it’s more likely that water/dust would be drawn in as the focusing or zoom ring is turned – especially if the lens barrel moves in or out a lot. The WR lenses have seals at these points to prevent this.
They do to some extent prevent dust/water ingress, but not totally. I have WR lenses (DA*'s) that have tiny particles of dust inside. Barely visible with the naked eye, but they are there.

Try this if you have any WR or DA* lenses. Remove both end caps and hold the aperture wide whilst shining a bright torch through the lens from the mount end.

Now look inside the lens. See what I mean?

I guess it would depend on the ferocity of the wind and rain and how much exposure (no pun intended) the camera & lens combination suffered.

WR lenses have a neoprene type seal that prevents water ingress to the body through the mount.

Non-WR lenses lack this seal and you have a metal to metal, or plastic to metal (depending on the lens mount material), interface which is not water tight. I'd say it is quite likely that water would cause a problem, eventually.

Personally, I buy lenses for their performance and image quality, not for their weather resistance. That said, I live in southern Spain where rain is rare. We do get plenty of dust though.

Still the great unanswered question though - K-5 II or IIs?
Isn't it odd that Pentax charges more for a camera that has a bit missing?

Did they have to remove the AA filter, hence incurring additional labour charges, or did they just not put it in in the first place. If the latter, the K5IIS ought to be cheaper, surely.

Camera has circa 6680 shutter actuations and is supplied with all original accessories shown in the photo, plus strap, operating manual, software, and box. Not shown as they are in UK. It is supplied with 1 x original Pentax D-L150 battery and 2 x third party batteries.

The camera is in perfect working order with no damage to top or rear screens. The apparent mark on the rear screen in the photo is a reflection of a crease in the fabric it was on for the photograph.

D-BG2 is supplied as seen in photo with no box. It will be adequately packaged for shipment to the purchaser.

In addition I have 3 genuine original Pentax D-L150 batteries for sale separately, none of which have seen much use. Capped (not shown) but no boxes, they will be adequately packaged for shipment to the purchaser.

Pentax K20D body only - £249.00
Pentax D-BG2 grip - £ 65.00
The above purchased together - £299.00

Pentax D-L150 battery - £15.00 each

Prices include shipping to a UK mainland address. Separate batteries will be sent via ordinary first class post unless the buyer prefers a higher service at their cost.

NOTE: The items will be posted to the purchaser(s) on or shortly after 16th January 2013 during my next visit to UK. They will travel back to UK as part of my hand luggage.

The version of Photoshop CS2 that has been made available for download is the RTM version 9.0.0

In the past I've downloaded an update to version 9.0.2 (I am a legal and licensed user of PS CS2).

The update servers also seem to have been terminated because the update to 9.0.2 is no longer available.

If you download and use this version you are stuck with the original release, warts 'n all.
