Not strictly true I'm afraid.
Adobe has made these non-retail keys that don't need activation available to owners of licences to use CS2 to facilitate the re-installation of their legally acquired software.
Ordinarily, Adobe products contact an activation server when first used in order to authenticate the licence.
The activation servers for CS2 have been terminated since December 13th 2012. Anybody trying to activate a newly installed CS2 product using a retail key will fail.
That said, Adobe's license states something like "you are granted licence to use the product if it was acquired from Adobe". Adobe making these downloads available from their own site has been interpreted by many to mean that they are licensed to use it as they have sourced it from Adobe themselves.
AFAIK, Adobe has not made any further comment. They did remove the download page for a while, only to reinstate it later.

Selling because I don't use it enough to justify keeping it.
In excellent cosmetic and functional condition.
Will be supplied as seen in the photos with original caps but I have no box or case for it. It will of course be adequately packaged for shipping.
Full technical specification can be found here.
£259.00 incl postage via RMSD to a UK mainland address.
NOTE: The lens will be posted to the purchaser on or shortly after 16th January 2013 during my next visit to UK. It will travel back to UK as part of my hand luggage.

I'm selling this lens because I've recently bought a Sigma 70-200mm 1:2.8 lens which better suits my needs for motor sport photography at night.
No damage to lens elements, small amount of dust visible when shining a torch through the lens, no fungus. The only damage, if you can call it that, is to the tripod foot (visible in photo), caused by the screw on one of my Manfrotto QR plates. I'd forgotten to remove it before I attached the QR plate to the foot and the screw was sticking out a bit too far.
Full technical specification can be found here.
The lens is supplied complete with original box, front and rear lens caps, hood. I have temporarily misplaced the soft case for this lens. I will forward it to the purchaser if/when I find it at no additional cost.
£779.00 incl postage via RMSD to a UK mainland address.

The link supplied above now takes you to the main Creative Suite page.
I guess Adobe has decided to remove this facility now.
