I am really getting into mono now and BTW bought
June 'DIGITAL PHOTO D-SLR'
it has a very very good DVD with it this month 'B & W in Photoshop' some great tutorials....

Great photo essay, well cropped too., couldn't see any ale being quaffed tho, our lot down 'ere are right boozers!

I want to buy a secondhand 50mm fast lens for the K10D, have seen one locally : SMC Pentax-A 50mm F1.7 lens , what would the compatability be with my camera, I am not sure about 'A' lenses.
Obviously it wd be manual focus, but what about exposure, etc..? compared to my existing lenses FA's which which are fully functional with the K10D.
Any tips on which ones to look out for?

Got to get that lens, you are all going on about anyone know how much it will be?
To be honest I can't see much difference between te 2 shots, may be the first one is a little darker??? Can anyone explain what the difference sd be?
