What a stunning picture, Marc. Look at all the detail! I'm lost for words. Thank you very much for sharing and a Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!

Sam, FWIW, I can vouch for Frederik. I have known him for quite some time and have had previous dealings with him. He's a reputable buyer who pays promptly and will not disappoint you. And his excitement really comes across, because when shouting 'SOLD' he shows really serious interest in buying.

Frederik, good to see you here, too!

Sorry, Sam, John, off topic.

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with batteries, but why would that make you lose faith in Pentax? I have a K100DS which I still use occasionally. Never had any problems with it. Are you sure it's got nothing to do with -0 temperatures?

Unfortunately I won't be able to buy a K-5 anytime soon, but I think you're offering great service, Chris. Any chance you're going to open an SRS shop in the Netherlands in the (near) future?

Andrew, I don't think it matters which camera you have or use. I always thoroughly enjoy your pictures; they all show how talented you are and how much attention you pay to every single one of 'em.

What a wonderful series! I prefer how they are in your Photobucket slideshow for mono and colour (esp the bird cage and oven).

Thanks or sharing, Andrew!

Received the Vivitar 28mm f2.8 CF today. It's in excellent condition, as described, and well packed. Thank you very much for a smooth transaction, Tim, sending it even before payment was in!

I love it already. Lovely colour rendition, smooth focusing and pretty sharp even wide open. In spite of the grey and rainy day I managed to take a picture outside. If there's anything wrong with it, it's my fault.

Thx again, Tim!

Oh, Gwyn, I'm so sorry to hear that! We had a similar experience last December, although our dog was 11 years old and a bit poorly. He died in my arms in the car on the way to the vet's. The suddenness, it happening so unexpectedly caused a huge shock. Although we still have three dogs left, our house lost part of its soul.

I'm really feeling for you and thinking of you. All the best!

Lidy
