Ivy is excellent Andrew, really great 'pop', and great composition. My only observation would be that brighter bit on the left - perhaps crop the left edge up to the corner of the slab?

Andrew, I don't think it matters which camera you have or use. I always thoroughly enjoy your pictures; they all show how talented you are and how much attention you pay to every single one of 'em.

That's a really nice set there, it's difficult to pick a fav but IMO 'Berries' does stand out.

Wow! Thanks everyone. I'm pleased you like the results from my new toy. Had it two days and I've only got to page 23 of the instruction book! There seems to be so many settings and modes, but it's the handling of the thing that has blown me away! I've used "equivalent" Nikons and Canons at work and belonging to friends but nothing feels like this does. Quite like the pictures, too!

Very good, especially the close-ups. I like remembrance and particularly berries, which I thought were crab apples.

Numbers 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 are my equal favourites here, they have stunning quality Andrew. Your kit lens has performed very well and the K10, not famous for high ISO noise abatement, is perfect at 400 ISO in your shots.

So I went to the park today (poor light and a shortage of great subjects but, hey, that's a typical English day). All shot at 400 ASA, aperture priority, 18-55 kit lens. I love using it!
