That happened to me 2 months ago, Why? because I mentioned that the item was also being advertised locally. (against EBay rules)
Either way, it's completely pointless to threaten eBay with the cancellation of your account.
They won't give a damn, and might even laugh.
However if you were a "powerseller" I'm sure it would of been very different.

Keen2Learn you may be thinking of Getty Images who had a blitz on web sites using their stock images without payment. They sent stiff letters indicating the fees due with no option of just ceasinbg to use them (as I recall). Some people paid, some bargained and some advised them where they might go having first removed the images.
I suspect getty made a lot on money - quite reasonably really.

It was a company attempting to claim the copyright to all photos.
I'll see if I can find the link somewhere.

This is a very interesting subject and I look forward to reading the outcome.
I read somewhere that some company in USA is attempting to legally claim copyright to all photographs, mine, yours, everyones. Sorry to be so vague but I can't remember where exactly I read it.
Did anyone else here read something similar in the past 6 months?

My overall feeling was that the original feedback both ways system was better in that it gave both sides a say. If I saw a negative then I always checked the other party to see what the response had been and tit-for-tat negatives were easy to spot. The more complicated it gets the worse the system tends to be because many don't do it properly.
Any thoughts on the star system?
I sell an item, post it same or next day and get 4.8 on feedback score.
Paid on Monday and received Tuesday and buyer doesn't give 5.0 for dispatch time ... crazy.
Yet I like the new system of feedback
I always check sellers feedback before I buy anything especially if I want the item quickly .....
I also like the new system as sellers are now UNABLE to give retaliation negative feedback to buyers. Therefore buyers are now able to give more ACCURATE feedback to dodgy sellers.
Some negative feedback is fun to read.

And since the previous post has been deleted by its author, this post of mine no longer makes sense. Ah well.

The judging comes at the end of the competition
Blimey O'Reilly this is gonna be a hard one in MONO!
However, the question did occur to me, can rainbows be done effectively in black and white?
