Thank you Judge.....special congrats to Hyram.

I had my ghost stand in my frame for 15 of my 30 secs.....if I had of realized that ghost did dishes(pnjmcc Washed Up)....I would left her in the frame for as long as it took!!

Had a ton of fun showing off my camera to my daughter in law...while she played ghost!

Oh yes gentlemen...it is my typing after midnight -oh dear me's!!!

It is indeed f/4.0 and 800ISO

Thank you for all the advice...I will be trying some night shots soon and I shall make all the recommendation.

After I work on my Photography skill...I will work on my typing and spelling

So to sum this up...decrease my ISO...from 800 to 200...then my f/4 should be increased to f/8...up to f/16...looking for a 'sweet spot'.

Oh ya...of course a tripod using delay..or a remote control!

Off I go for a try...will post my update!
Again gentlemen...THANKS

Hi Jimmy and welcome to the forum.

I am from New Brunswick...but am right now in Northren Alberta for a month or so. Nice to see a new fellow Canadian...these UK-ers are the BEST...So do enjoy them!

I am the owner of the K-M...last years K-x Although I do understand that the K-x has a few added features, especially the live view and 16 focal point...ect The help button is just like carring your manual with you. The camera offers a lot of internal filters and special effects...I love using these features. It is a very easy and user freindly camera. I have learned so many fun and new things since I have owned mine...it will be a year in April.

One contest, that I entered,(not on this site), my picture was chosen as one of the best for 2009..and published in a book...The best photos of 2009...I think you will be pleased and even surprised at its abilities!

The K-m (without live view) will often shoot about 600+ pictures before I need to replace or recharge my battery, I have even gone beyond 700. I might add the I often do a lot of reviewing when taking pictures in the field...checking and trying new things. I find the ISO at an 800 plus, very pleasing. Of course that all depends on what you are shooting and the time of day or lighting condition ect...

Even though the K-m is at the lower end of the DSRL..it has performed like the big guns...K10...K20's, when it comes to the picture quality...take a look at my portfolio...having said that the K-m and K-x do not have the weather sealing, nor is it as heavy or large as the K10 or K20. The K-m only has a central focus ...but I do believe that I read the K-x has the sixteen point focus...

The beauty is with the K-x is that you can build your lens and flash to a higher quality....specialize in things like... Macro...movement...wide angle...landscape, and so on.....and of course, as you know, you can use any of the older pentax lens that you might already own!

Bottom line is that I love my K-m, and have not been disappointed with the sharpness, crispness, true colours, and speed, that this camera gives! And if the K-X is the new improved K-m...then I say go for it with confidance...because it is a wonderful camera in a small bundle.

If you do buy one...and then do not care for it...and want to sell it....FIND ME!!!!wink:wink:
