I am trying to take pictures with my pentax K-M using my old lens from my K1000.....I have put the setting on permit for lens and set my camera to manual...however all my telescopic photos are very dark...is this my ISO setting??

If I lighten them by photoshopping it comes very washed out.

Don't know if your question has been answered but, if the metering with old lenses is just as good as the K10D then that's the problem.
The K10D underexpose with manual lenses so that's most likely also the problem.

I took some pictures with the K10D with a Tamron 70-300 old pump
but I had no problem with underexposure.
