Hi Jo, I am sorry that I missed the topic.....now my reasoning was that the womb was a "place"....of spirit...of protection. I did look up the meaning, thought that the womb picture might work. I must conclude that I am still clueless to what it is???

No worries, I have always enjoyed the competitions, and I would have been totally overwhelmed if I had of won this...after last weeks cometition work, AND the baby in the womb has now arrived, and I am beyond busy

Just for the enjoyment of it all....here is the new addition..a girl!

Well I sure am glad that some of you feel it is a fine topic.....I love macro, and with the help of Hefty's advice, I just bought my first ever extention tubes.....I must confess, it was a lot harder then I thought, to get the right light and a sharp picture!!!

When one is learning something new.....it is so awesome to study and see the way others achive the task.

It is about time David Trout bought a tripod
Your right on both counts, but I bet he just stands closer.
:winkavid Trout.....You do not have a tripod???
I love your work...just to think, all without a tripod

Thank you Jo for your compliment...

Hi John and welcome....I am a K-m owner....so I have to ask....what do you call "eating up batteries"...how many pictures can you snap before replacements?

I love my K-m....and I am continuely learning ticks of the trade with it.

Take a look at my portfolio....as you will see, it keeps up with the "big guns" quite well. I must confess I do seem to be having a itch for more lenses....and maybe another camera.....The itch could be a disease too!!!

Welcome and enjoy the forum Stephen! Well...I must say when I was in NL I agreed to kissing the cod...but would not drink that rum...Here in New Brunswick our rum is 40%.....so i can not imagine drinking 100% home brewed...LOL.

I was also to Jamacia...they have rum at 100%...Mmmm.

I would love to see some iceburg pics when you do them.
