What formations... This landscape can only be believed if you see it!

Looks a very nice place and you've captured it well with a 3D look which is rarely done other than on close-ups. The focus looks very sharp especially on the people. The red and blue of the jackets is also spot on.

A lovely set of pictures of a happy time.

Having people in the shots certainly gives a sense of scale often lacking in pictures of green hills and valleys. Balancing a camera on an edge to take a selfie sounds a bit risky, though, even for a Pentax!

Do the first two tell a story - little children run off to top of exciting hill, adults eventually catch up and bring them down to safety?

It's a magical place. I was there 8 years ago and have a shot very similar to your last one. The trees and bushes haven't grown very much in that time. Perhaps it's something to do with the weather...
