I have an old book on MF written by Michael Freeman. It's quite informative and has excellent descriptions of many systems that were available back in the day.

If it doesn't have a battery grip then I'm not interested.

I have a Cosina M42 "Auto" 28mm - it only has an auto mode so can only be used wide open on a K-mount SLR. I assume these Mamiya lenses are the same?

I think the only solution would be to alter the lenses to lock the pin in permanently.

I understood that the type with a flange is the "bad" type as it doesn't allow focusing to infinity. Is that what you're looking for?

The advice from Ken is very good. I'd add that you should check the light selas and mirror buffer, though these are easy and cheap to replace, this adds to the cost of the camera. I'd also wind and fire the shutter a few times, though if it's an electronic shutter you'll need batteries. Again only if you have batteries, check the light meter works. Check that the battery compartment is not corroded.

Tuesday bump.

Did I mention that this lens is in mint condition and is the perfect starter lens for 645 medium format?
