I will be over in the UK next week so will take the opportunity to advertise here an F 70-210mm lens I have for sale. I will try to get some photos added in the next couple of days but the lens is in great condition optically and physically and works perfectly.

It's full frame and film compatible and very favourable reviews can be found on the US forum here: http://www.pentaxforums.com/lensreviews/SMC-Pentax-F-70-210mm-F4-5.6-Zoom-Lens.h...

I'm looking for £55 delivered in the UK. I will post elsewhere but at additional cost. Payment by bank transfer or Paypal (buyer pays any fees) or in person in Edinburgh. I'm heading over on Friday afternoon so would need to know by then if anyone is interested in order to take it with me. I'd be able to post it on Monday the 23rd.

Check the Ilford website for some very useful guides on how to develop B&W film.

If you're shooting colour film then I suggest you take it to be developed as colour and for B&W, shoot B&W film.

As long as it doesn't go along with the current trend of high-grade APS-C or m4/3 cameras that are even more expensive than FF models, I think we'll be fine.

I agree that you need to negotiate fair use of the space, whatever's available. Apart from that, have a go at selling whatever you don't want (if anything) and look into breaking the boxes down flat for storage. It's always a good idea to keep them in case you sell them in the future.

Really great to see these, and to have the info on such a positive Photographic year for you Jonathan. Such a great sense of the variety of your travels, and some absolutely cracking images . The bike and the chair particularly appeal - real showstoppers for me.

Many thanks. It's interesting that you both chose the two film shots in the set.

Inspired by a few others here, I've picked out twelve images from the past year which I'm particularly happy with.

I feel that 2016 was the photographically most productive year that I have ever had, not in terms of sheer volume but in terms of images that I'm very happy with. I think the biggest factor in this has been the amount of travelling I've done - Barcelona, Paris, Norway, Stockholm, Bilbao and various other trips within Spain. These trips have brought photographic opportunities aplenty and I've tried to make the most of them. In particular, the trip to Paris with three days on my own and shooting largely film, was something I've been dreaming of doing for years. Going to Norway and Sweden was a trip my wife and I have been thinking of for many years too.

With all of that, I found it extremely difficult to narrow it down to twelve photos as the others here have done. I don't feel that these photos are an accurate photographic representation of my year because there aren't enough of them to show everything I would consider a highlight, but if I go for more than twelve, where do I stop?

It could be anything, from a simple broken connection to a busted circuit board. Check the batteries and if that doesn't work you could try taking the bottom off and looking for breaks. Beyond that, you'd need to send it to a professional to look over, but it may be cheaper to replace than to repair.

Just ordered the "FA Ltd" Trio of the 31, 43 and 77, don't believe I'll be able to get them at the price any time soon after this sale.

Those 3 along with the 20mm FA 2.8, 24-70 f2.8 and 70-200 f2.8 should cover off almost anything!!!
Wow, all three FA limiteds in one hit - someone's in for a GOOD photographic new year.
