Unless the cameras are deemed unusual enough to be collectables, would eBay not give you ball-park figures? Is it absolutely essential to value them for probate? I had to look into this once, and low value personal possessions were ignored, it was property, money, shares and high-value personal items that were of concern, i.e. jewellery, paintings, etc.

Monitor will mirror the LCD screen on the camera, but no controls.

Tablet running appropriate software will mirror camera LCD, and give controls.

Could consider a Flucard in the camera, plus tablet or phone.

Some £50 monitors on Amazon, eBay, etc.

Hello again. Further to this post. I have turned off GPS but it keeps switching back on which is draining batteries constantly. I also recently fully charged batteries left the camera in bag fully switched off without any use at all and when I switched it on the batteries where nearly flat. I,m beginning to hate this camera. Has anyone else had similar issues?
Is the GPS button getting operated in your bag?

Or, are you assuming that if you switch off the camera that GPS will switch off too if it was on before you powered the camera down?

I've found you have to switch off GPS before powering the camera down.

Take a look at this earlier thread on the same topic> https://www.pentaxuser.com/forum/topic/k3ii-battery-drains-flat-57214/p-0

This is a debate as much about price sensitivity as model choice. Maybe the way forward is some hybrid pricing model possibly based on mobile phone contracts and car leasing?

Some £ up front, so much per month, pay the balance or hand the body back as a trade-in after 2 years? An enterprising dealer could look at a body and lenses bundle, so the buyer is invested in the lenses, and tied into the brand, and, as with mobile phones, also has the option of a new model body on a regular basis?

Not sure what I'm missing but I can't find more than a couple of refurbished Pentax lenses and no used ones on the SRS website! Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?! Ta.

Take a look at something like this, then.

Buy a longer tube, cut it to length, transfer the background material over to it.

Or, find a way to mount the brackets closer. I assume they're mounted either side of an opening - a garage door or similar?

Interesting discussion.

I'm right handed and right eye dominant and I prefer the second.

Not sure what makes the difference, but for me the first image is just 'wrong'; it's discordant. I don't so much follow the line of the fence as feel 'pushed' by it towards the gate, which is itself 'wrong' because it's crammed over to the left of the scene.

The second image, however, seems to me to be 'right'; the fence line gently steers me toward the gate, which being over to the right of the scene is in the correct position, and the scene has more balance.

Could be my inherent 'left to right' bias?

Go back to the Manfrotto site and look up Expan sets. They fit in the ends of the 2m tube and rest on the brackets you've put up. I suspect the instructions with the Expan sets will give the fixing centre measurements for the brackets.
