They would come up on Ebay every once in a while, but I've not seen one in ages, but there again I've not been looking for one. I think the last place I saw one was at MXV, but they're gone now

The MX is a superb answer to everything, especially with either a 50mm or the M 35-70mm zoom on the front as mine now carries. It even makes old pros who've always had Nikon and regard a £500 lens as cheap nod appreciatively.

John, only bought it last night unable to test yet. It is very quiet in its focus operation and works with the Tamron AF 1.4 TC as well.

I will post shots ASAP but that will not be before the weekend.

Hi Colin

Look forward to seeing your results, thanks. Great to know it works with the Tamron 1.4x BTW

Best regards,

John

I have a K10d and a 120-400mm Sigma lens combination.

What are the suggestions regarding a strap/sling type thing so that the camera sits on your hip.

I only have the standard strap, so ideas/links would be appreciated.

Thanks
Hi Colin
Very OT but what do you think of the Sigma 120-400 IQ wise please?

John

Matt, do the Sony cameras have built in lens correction for recognised lenses, or am I thinking of something else?

I don't think setting focal length in SR will help AFAIK it only goes down to 10mm, but I haven't the K20D with me.

I'll try and get some sample images up next week, nothing special just test shots probably.

Best regards,

John

Oh well, I guess the images will be pretty obvious regarding which lens I was using, at least most of the time.

I've just bought an 8mm, the Pentax version definitely has the "A" setting on the aperture ring, whether it will allow third or half stops between the apertures via body control I do not know, but I'm hoping it will. I can comment more when it arrives, Monday. Some EXIF data would be nice as well.
