Hi All, I've found some Cokin P filters I'm unlikely to use:
P002 - Orange
P003 - Red
P021 - Blue (80B)
P036 - FLW (fluorescent correction)
P046 - FLD (fluorescent correction) - missing the paper label & outer sleeve.

All are in their original boxes and as new condition.

£15 including UK postage - Paypal (gift) or bank transfer.

John.

I'm an old film shooter and bought my K-1 primarily to use my wide-angles as they were intended. I didn't have many DA lenses (I need aperture rings for my film cameras). When the K-1 development was announced I bought a few FA lenses to be ready for it. Things like better IQ, dynamic range etc. are merely details, the single biggest reason was an FF body for my FA43...

I don't need fast AF, burst rates and a host of other features, but I did want the FF format. The built in GPS saved me buying the separate module and extra features over my K-5 are amazing. The K-5 was too small to grip comfortably and I needed the grip most of the time. I bought the K-1 grip, but for me the camera is better without it - and similar in size/weight to my gripped K-5. I kept the K-5 as it has a very low shutter count, it was hardly worth anything and is a good second camera taking the same batteries/chargers etc.

Was going to stock up on some film as the lab I go to, where the lens is, is pretty reasonable but, it's not just cameras that are getting more and more expensive, check these links out. Now bear in mind last year I bought a 5 pack for £25!
That'll be because Fuji have discontinued Pro 400H: link

I've got a nice M645 pro collection with 35C, 45N, 80/2.8, 150, 120 macro and 210/4 - all except the 35 were new, and the 120 Macro was stock clearout. Prices for this kit are a bit like bank shares, ie cost you more to sell than you will get....

Probably due to complexity of the kit and the fact cost per shot is over 2 times more than 35mm... but the results....
Not sure about Mamiya M645 gear, I'll check what mine might be worth. As to cost per shot - it used to be 2x but it's a lot closer now. Typically a roll of chrome 135-36 is now nearly £20 but similar in 120 is about £10 - if shooting 645 with 15 exposures there's not much difference (apart from a larger format).

Mono is a bit cheaper for 135-36, but good processing is more expensive if you don't do your own.

Yes, rare bits of kit. I'm not interested only because I have the camera & lens myself. Good luck with the sale.

I don't have my K-1 manual/camera to hand but suspect you're looking for 'Composition Adjustment' or something similar?

Many of the consumer grade ones are a bit ropey
From personal experience I would steer clear of the FA 28-80 3.5/4.7. Apart from being slow the image quality is questionable,

The best lens in the range you want is in my opinion the FA 24-90 3.5/4.5. But it does sell for £150/200 today !
Having had one, I totally agree with your comment about the 28-80 - in fact I think you were being generous in saying that the "image quality is questionable" because my own opinion of it was absolutely "abysmal" on both film and digital (k-5)
I have to disagree that all FA 28-80 3.5/4.7 are really bad. I bought mine new when the Z-1 first came out, at the time PP regarded as a decent (above average) zoom - IIRC it cost £150 on top of the Z-1 body. Not as good as the FA 28-105. Digital stresses lenses more than film but I had no complaints using it with Kodachrome 25/64.

Both these FA PZ zooms are big/heavy/clunky and feel 'gritty' (both in zooming and AF) - but mine did thatr from day one. The PZ switch (not the manual/PZ zoom collar) easily beaks on all these lenses but it only matters if you want to use the dedicated PZ features on the Z-1/Z-10. The basic PZ functionality works on my K-5 & K-1.

My P30 (not n nor T) definitely has a cable release at 5 o'clock on the lens throat when viewed from the front. It has an AE lock which makes it much easier to use in program than all earlier Pentaxs.

Nobody seems to want them and they usually sell for very little (I've given up trying to give it away). My preference is a P50 which has M, Av and 2 programs if you get on with push buttons (it's still a very good user interface). True you're limited to DX coding but that's a small issue for most.

[quote:3496ace15f="womble"]Although it is currently residing with a friend until we can meet-up again, I have finally managed to find the elusive lens hood for my SMC Pentax-AF zoom 1:2.8 35-70mm.

Nice find
