I actually really like the £1 Kodak, works really well with the Spotmatic F and Takumar lenses. Gives a nice retro feel to the pics.

Ektar is really good though you have to nail the exposure to get best results. Haven't used slide film so can't really comment. I'd like too, but my skills aren't really good enough probably............

Even though I'm a skint postgrad, I don't mind the little expense film needs as it keeps me out of the pub! If we don't use it, they will stop making it and where would all that great kit from yesteryear do then?

Please don't dump the camera and lenses! Plenty of people will want them and I'm trying to avoid temptation!

I love Budapest and I love these! My partners Hungarian and I've spent a lot of time wandering the streets.....

The Lehel Market is better than the one you photographed though.... More of a local food market and there is some top stuff!!

A fully sustainable mill and visitor centre where they generate their own electricity and make compost from the poo in the toilets!

My first editing using Lightroom...... First Digital for ages too..... All CC welcome!

Shot with the Pentax K200d and the 18-55mm WR lens. handheld.

Those shots are incredible!

I have a K200d though, so I take it that this camera wouldn't really work so well at IR? I obviously don't want to start dismantling it!

Didn't realise filters were possible? I thought the camera had to be converted (how I have no idea) to IR? I kind of like giving one of the film cameras over to it as if I find it doesn't work very well I haven't spent much!

Having seen a few peoples digital infra red shots, I was wondering about the infra red film that Ilford make. Someone here had been experimnenting with it I seem to recall?

Might make an interesting project with one of the film cameras. As and when there is time!

I've always found the top LCD to be more than adequate. For me the pros of this camera do outweigh the few negatives. This was pretty much an entry level camera!
