Great images gentlemen. You definitely seemed to have had a good day, it lived up to it being a steam fair! Perhaps next time for me as well.

Adrian, That translates to "Most people will do best to turn the world demand" Now I am confused

Help Howard
Cliff, Google has got this way way wrong
In a nutshell what I'm saying is "the more that turn up, the better it will be".

Funnily enough, Welsh is my first language with 42 years experience, but I ended-up gaining 2 CSE's in Welsh, and 2 O Levels in English

Cheers
Adrian
Hi Cliff,

As Adrian says Google has got it wrong. "Byd" in this case does not translate to "world" it means "will be". The literal translation should be "More the merrier".

Welsh is my first language, with slightly more experience than Adrian, but when I went to school they didn't teach us welsh.

I assume Adrian that from your PU name you're about 7 ft tall!!!

Cheers,

Howard

I thought it was part of your camouflage. Field craft and all that.

"I'm not sure anyone had control of Howard though." Stuey

I thought I was very well behaved and polite to everybody. Next time (if I'm allowed to come) I'll swear at you properly in Welsh.

Howard

Hi Howard

I like your photo's the last one is my favourite

With regard to control it was daft/ tounge in cheek comment more related to the fact we kept wondering were you were at times as you had wandered off looking for photo ops - something I should have done more of - although I think Cliff and Aaron gave you a run for your money in disappearing

You were the perfect gentleman and a credit to Wales If you do swear properley at me in Welsh I may not understand - I think that Saturday proved to me as much as anyone else that my dismal Welsh language skills have deteriorated badly - my other half is going to work on this with me

Cheers

Stu
Hi Stu,

Diolch am eich geiriau caredig.

I'm not very good with smilies, it was taken very lightly. I didn't appreciate that I had wandered off so much!! Next time you'll have to put a long lead on me!!

"Perfect gentleman" - you can't mean me surely.

Anyway as I've said before it was very nice meeting everybody.

Cheers,

Howard

PS I hope there is a next time.

The family has gone home, so here as promised, or was that threatened, are some of my images. Not a patch on the others I'm afraid.

1. Pink Flamingo

Sorry folks about the lack of images - much too busy with our granddaughter on her first visit here. I'll put some up later in the week. But mine mine are very mediocre compared to the marvellous shots that have already been posted.

Cheers,

Howard

Nice ones there Cliff. I'll put a couple of mine on the gallery, sorry I haven't got time to setup a flickr folder for them - expecting the family soon.
