As the title says, my K3 has on a few occasions been "machine gunning" this usually happens if the battery is getting low and it is a bit cold. Today it happened when it was set to TAV and twice in quick succession, when I got back into the warmth it was fine!! The firmware is still on Version 1!!
Any advice would be appreciated.
Cheers,
Howard

I too had to use Google for information.
I have some questions- 1. How much can you see from the car park? 2. How far up do you have to go to get a good view?
The reason I ask is that we've booked a cottage for a week near Barmouth in September and I fancy a visit. However I don't think my good lady would fancy a walk to the top and to be honest I'm not sure I could do it.
Thanks.

Haven't seen one for years, we only get the occasional thrush in the garden and they don't stay long enough or close to get a good shot of them.

As someone who is trying to improve his technique in photographing trees and woodland can you let us know the Exif data for some of these. And, being cheeky your technique.
Thanks in advance,
Howard

It took a while to get the photo of the Tasmanian Devil as he kept going round and round his enclosure, it seemed as if he was terribly bored.

I'd seen something similar elsewhere on the web and I thought I'd give it a try, makes a change.
The furthest north we got was Currumbin for the wildlife sanctuary (which is where I got the kangaroo shot). We were staying in Alstonville near Lismore which is where our son lives. Lovely area.
This Tasmanian Devil was also at the sanctuary -

and this Quokka

neither of which I'd ever seen before.
Have you seen one of these up your way? Nobody round where we stayed had seen one nor knew what it was.

Cheers,
Howard

I'll post an update when it's done and I think the problem is sorted.
