Review in Sunday mail of SonayA290L entry camera by Fran Healy ( he of pop group Travis ) gives it 3 out of 5. Of 5 others compared Kr is the only one to get 5 stars !

I notice SRS has the FA 50 mm 1.4 back in stock at a decent price. Would this be a better proposition than the new 55mm 1.4 ?

Looking at its nomenclature it swould appear this lens is the same quality as the DA 16-50mm DA is this the case ?

Currently I have only the two kit lenses. Can anyone tell me how to use the Distance scale so as to focus on the HFL and would this then ensure maximum depth of field ?
