I'm in the market for a 31 and I think your price is very reasonable, unfortunately I'm only interested in getting a silver one to go with my 43 and 77...

It was a Playstation game, only worth around £5-10 IIRC, but the sale went as smoothly as if I'd sold it to somebody living down the street.

Still, each to their own, I'm quite happy to ship anywhere as long as the customer pays up front. I think all countries have their fair share of idiots and scammers, but they also have a vast majority who just wish to buy something nice at a fair price. I'm happy to cater to the latter group.

Out of interest, how did you compile that particular list of countries?

I ask because I've sold items to buyers in every single one of them (except Indonesia) and I've never had so much as a sniff of a problem. The only problems I have had with buyers have been ones from Belgium (once) and USA (three times) - all of those can be put down to random idiots and the high number from the USA is proportionate to the number of US bidders I get, so I certainly wouldn't consider blacklisting them all.

Just curious as to your personal experiences with (for example) Chinese buyers (who I've always found to be polite prompt payers who leave good feedback)?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

One thing to bear in mind with flashes is the firing modes offered by them. I see you have quite a few manual lenses which will work fine on the K10D, however, you can't use the P-TTL flash protocol with a manual lens attached (the flash gets confused and just goes off at maximum power). Pentax flashes (AF360FGZ and AF540FGZ) feature three modes of operation, namely P-TTL/TTL (where the camera measures the light - only available to you with your DA18-55 currently), Manual (where you set all parameters of flash and camera - suitable for all lenses) and Auto (where the flashgun measures the light - again suitable for all lenses).

Be careful with many of the third-party flashguns as they often only offer P-TTL/TTL and Manual. Although they'd still be workable (manually) having an Auto mode would be far preferable in your situation. I use the Pentax AF360FGZ and find it to be a great little workhorse.

There's only so many words you can fit into a title and I find the "Canon" one is the biggest money-spinner - hence I try and work it into as many M42 listings as possible...

Actually, just done my own bit of research and you're right - it is T4 (which I now know to be a pre-1974 forerunner to TX so this lens is older than I thought). I've amended the title and description on my eBay listing and thankyou for your eagle eyes!

Hi Hefty1. Your TX Vivitar looks a bit like a T4?? I understand TX lenses are clearly labelled TX on both adaptor and lens.

I've never heard of T4 lenses! I've had a couple of TX ones (with PK mounts) and this looked the same as them, hence I ran with that. Is it two different systems then and are they interchangeable?
