As you say Martin - difficult to work out what they are looking for.
I'm pleased that my image was accepted - but mine was just an image ( I hope it was pleasing to the eye)
The one you had declined was equally as pleasing to the eye and carried a message about the changing world we live in, it would have got my vote for acceptance!!

Thanks for the help getting approval to submit images - I put one up to test the water and had it accepted .

I'm well chuffed, it's been a good week for me photographically, I got a second place in our local photography club's monthly competition and then got this accepted, just cracked a beer to celebrate

I'd love to be there - the chance to meet some of the forum members, staff at SRS and play with latest kit is tempting - but cost of fuel to drive down from Manchester will probably prohibit it

I'm not sure what you are asking - the only difference I can see is that the lens focal length (zoom) is set to 16mm for the shot that includes all of the car and 50mm (according to the exif info - which is odd for the 16 - 45 lens) for the one which just shows the rear light and mirror.
Having said that maybe I'm missing something - I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will have a better answer soon.

By the time you have added a couple of lenses to your kit you will have spent several hundred pounds, you don't want it all bashing around inside a bag.
If you shop around you will get a Lowepro bag for much less than £100 - I think I paid around £40 for my Slingshot 200 AW and then bought a huge Stealth Reporter 550 this week for £70
