Just checked mine (refurb. from SRS last october) and there is no sign of the rubber peeling away.

Steve,

If you haven't lost faith in the Pentax brand -a refund from Devon Camera and a new body from SRS (complete peace of mind re: customer service) might be the way to go.

It seems that I probably will be able to access the web during my camping holiday - just checked out the campsite website and - I quote

"The site shop is well stocked and is open daily during the season. Stocking a variety of local produce including, bread, milk, bacon, eggs, sausage etc. as well as provisions, games, toys, gifts, barbecue equipment and camping and caravan accessories. Newspapers can be ordered daily

Internet connection on half hourly rate available during shop opening hours"

So I think I may post my entry and take my laptop and hope that I can follow the competition via the campsites internet connection.

Does anyone object to me entering on that basis :::

John,

I think winning is highly unlikely, but if that happened would setting the theme for the next competition not just pass down to second place if the winning entrant was unavailable ?

Guys,

I have an image that I feel fits the theme very well and was just about to enter it when I realised that I will be away on holiday from Thursday this week until Sunday 20th April.

In the massively unlikely event that I had some success with my entry, without internet access I would not see the results until a week later.

Is it acceptable to post the entry knowing that I'll be unavailable when the judging takes place ?

Loskeran,

Mine was delivered this morning, great service, thank you again.

So, did you adjust the K20 to suit the lenses or was there another solution ??

Loskeran,

Thanks for sharing your bargain with us, hope you made a profit for your trouble.

I'd likeone of these as well if you have any left

PM on it's way
