I got a 'M'f1.7 from a charity stall in a market for £4! That was a bargain.

I got 1 of mine as a buy-it-now for around £15 including p&p!
It seems the vendors at the moment are ripping the bottom out of the market by asking stupid money. My advice is to wait and persevere, you should get one for around £15 that way.
If it's an 'A' lens then that's a different matter, they're not coming down just getting more expensive!

This is something that I could go for, unfortunately as John says, it's not necessarily the best product that is the most successful.
So the chance of one on ebay at a good price will be very slight, still I can look and hope.

I know it's a desirable item but not at that price!
