Took this today while attempting to photograph birds with my Pentax-F 100-300mm zoom, I just thought it fitted rather well with the topic:

Surprising results - the light is a bit off as the tree is right next to the window with snow outside and fairly bright daylight. Yes I know it isn't a bird!
