earlier this year I commented that everybody used avatars with anything but their face on, so lets see what you look like.
To kick things off this is me

The only Sony I rate BTW is the new Alpha 55, it uses the same sensor as the K-5, but not as well.

If all goes well it'll be another tour around Europe or France in the summer and lots of trips in the UK to tale piccys.
No new camera, I'm happy with my K110 and K200 bodies, although the new DA35mm is tempting.
Film wise I intend to use some of mt Pentax bodies and more of my old folding camera collection, just for fun.

It shows the expanse and depth of the subject (snow).

I tried this as a quick experiment and feel that 3 or 4 steps gave a good 'spacing' and am going to have a play when the weather is better.
I know what you mean about the 'acid trip', but with the correct sequance it could produce interesting results.

As stated above the adaptors aren't really worth it, you'll get better results with lenses more suited to the use.
For a 'longer' lens check the Pentax 55-300. It's a well regarded lens at a reasonable price see this link.
For a converter the Pentax 1.4X is the best but unavailable, you could try this link.
Hope that helps.

I had a new external drive die and take ALL my backups and some new stuff to digital heaven.
A 2 month old SDHC card refuses to give me my files from my K200d.
It seems that no matter what we do we will, eventually loose al our files,
Still, we can enjoy them while they last.

Not here though, I'm too busy cleaning the house after the wife has gone to work, a quick coffee and back too it.

I'm pretty sure I can brew up some wine in my bathtub, strain it with old sweatsocks, and bottle it in sealer jars, and it will compliment your sausages just fine.
...I must start brewing again...
....When my son moves out and I can use his room.
I forgot to mention I also gat one of these, now all I have to do is learn how to use it!

Isn't the K-5 little compared to the D7000 and 60D.
I can see when comparing what it is that draws people to the other brands, bigger flashy bodies that seem to do it all, but we know better don't we.
