Or you could try Currys, they have the K-x/18-55/50-200 bundle for £399.99 LINK

I never understood the complaints about the K200d jpeg quality. Mine's fine, it was probably a canon user who tested the camera, decided to 'alter' the truth as it was a threat to the canon equivalent!

...sorry did I just say that?

Again?

sorry!

Didn't feel the earth move last night, I was sat in a comfy sofa with a cat and glass of beer.

Alcohol seems a good earthquake damper...

well, despite the weather forecast we have no snow, the bike battery is almost charged and I'm ready(?) for work.

I might take a folding camera with me today, it's not a good idea to carry a DSLR on the bike as they don't like the vibrations much.

I never have problems with my Tammt 70-300, I find it sharp almost to full zoom.

For the money it's a cracking lens.

Nice shots by the way.

We're not expecting snow her, but a gritter has just gone up the road!

That's pointing to ice on the ground in the morning, and me back on a bike.

Oh well!

Ah well it's back to the grindstone tomorrow.

First days work since Christmas eve and my bike's battery is on charge, with a bit of luck she'll fire up in the morning. I've been using the car since the snow started, so it'll make a change getting out on the bike.

I couldn't find one in a Pentax fitting though
There isn't .. Pentax were never going to let Tokina release a PKA mount of a lens they had invested time and money into.
That explains the shortage of PKA lenses from Tokina. It's a shame that canikony users get the benifit of a 'Pentax' lens for less.

I was wondering what the difference was myself.

The quality at 12M on my i10 is superb so I haven't altered it.
