I think you might be able to find specific uses for each of them. The de-fished 10-17 will be useful for shots of the bridges in the bay. When you de-fish it leaves you with a long thin shot, well suited to the subject matter.
The 18-250 will come in handy if you want to take shots of the sea lions in SF bay.
If you take a trip to Alcatraz, then the limited will be handy as it's pretty dark in there.

Not sure about Vegas but I think you probably leave the 50 and 85 behind. Use I can think of for the macro would be taking close shots in the casinos, but I'm fairly sure you're not allowed to do that.

I did take a look at the SPL housing, but's it's more of a surface product than a dive product - e.g. fine for splashing about at the surface but won't go much deeper than 5m.
It's good that Seatool are producing a housing, but availability outside Japan isn't great anyway - not even sure they have an official UK distributor.

The diveross housing looks interesting, but I can't see any reviews for it anywhere. Plus, I don't trust the "one size fits all" approach that the product seems to take. I'd want to see it in action to see whether it can actually reach all of the camera functons.

In case anyone's interested, I found a link to a seatool prototype housing for the K-5 and K-7.
Here it is. If the pricing is the same as the Kx housing, it's about £1800.

The calibration looks a bit involved - hopefully you don't have to do it very often.

Sounds like a good opportunity to use the "catch in focus" feature. Put the camera on a tripod facing a jump, set focal distance to somewhere between you and the brow of the jump, then wait.

Don't know about the sigma, but the tamron does suffer from purple fringing in high contrast situations.

Seriously though, Facebook might be a good option because of the enforced lower resolution meaning lower bandwidth.

Another alternative is a site like snapfish. Has similar benefits for lower bandwidth, but allows people to order paper prints of the images they like, posted to their home address at a reasonable price.

The k200 is a great camera, check some of my portfolio shots on the site.
_but_ after getting a k5, with it's easy control layout, and sublime high iso performance. I think I would have trouble going back to it ( gave the k200 away in the end).
A k20 would be a better bet, it's less of a drop from the k5. Assuming you want the fall back for a professional shoot, ( like a wedding etc.) the k20 will mean less compromise in terms of shooting style and settings.
I would think a second hand k20 can be had for less than £300. if you've got a k200 ready to go, great, if not I don't think it's worth a fresh purchase.
If you can stretch to a used k7, the more the better.

Anyone know if the gps unit is available yet? I see srs say end of June, which is soon.
