Hi - kris09 - which part of Scotland ?

I have a DS, still think it is a fantastic camera, it was my first venture into the digital SLR world.

I suspect I will have it for many years to come.

You will probably need the 'fishy' if you need take a shot of The Empire State Building from across the road.

Some excellent photos, Mike.

Loved Lilly's and The 'Doctors' ( Mhuni )

Hi Mike, I know the flowing water was a bit of a stretch, but I was working away from home again, ( as seems usual these days ), but I did want to put something in, and this was the closest to the theme I took within the time limit.

I've thought about buying a Tokina version & getting the hood shaved off to work on full frame, but I'm not sure how much of an issue flare & contrast loss would become.
Pentax had the 17-28mm which was fisheye on full-frame, still have it and still use it.

Not fisheye on the smaller digital sensor though

May have future use on a Pentax full-frame, ( wish ) so I'll just hang on to it .

I have one as well, used it quite a bit.

Some people on here think it's the only lens I have

They were almost right, till I found the Pentax 17-70mm

It is still my favourite though, never leave home without it !!!

The woman was left pretty much as in the original.

I converted the rest to B&W and upped the contrast to isolate the woman a bit from her surroundings, but not too much as I still wanted her to be part of the scene.

I'll try taking out the orange from the taxi pic and see what it looks like
