Love mine too! Razor sharp and the colours always appear punchy. Is the 12-24mm as good?

Did I just hear the sound of a cash register in Russia go ker-ching as another Zenitar 16mm heads West..?

I've thought about buying a Tokina version & getting the hood shaved off to work on full frame, but I'm not sure how much of an issue flare & contrast loss would become.

Pentax had the 17-28mm which was fisheye on full-frame, still have it and still use it.
Not fisheye on the smaller digital sensor though

May have future use on a Pentax full-frame, ( wish ) so I'll just hang on to it .

Out of interest - do many forum members have both the 12-24 and the fishy? Would this be overkill?
Am quite happy with my current lineup of lenses, but my next addition (admittedly not anticipated for many moons) would probably be either the 10-17 or the 50-135.
I enjoy the width of my DA12-24 (amongst its many other qualities). But I sometimes wonder what the 180 degree might be like, and have liked the results produced by others (such as those above).

Nice images. It takes skill to use a fisheye lens to good effect.

I love it love it love it. I also have the (Samsung) 12-24 courtesy of Womble which looks like another favourite, but I haven't had much chance to test it yet.
I have about a hundred shots but here's a range.
Did I say I LOVE this lens. If I had to have one it would be this.

Oh sh
t! All these great images are awakening a yearning within me for the little fishy!
What makes it even more tempting is that it's one of the few lenses whose price didn't jump absurdly recently. Nice small size, too - though the tiny built in hood makes the front element look rather vulnerable.
Some lovely shots Mark. Out of interest - I assume you de-fished the pic of the lighthouse, or is this what the 17mm end looks like? By the way, I would be very interested in an update about how complementary you see the 12-24 & 10-17 after you've used them for a while alongside one another. Though from many (not all) shots above, fishy clearly has different uses to the 12-24.
Oh dear - I thought I'd sated my LBA last Xmas for at least a couple of years!

I have never seen one other than mine. Am I alone?
