Where have all the people gone ? And you have done some structural work as well
I have no problems with that at all. To me it is all about the final image.
Without trying to overtake your thread, what do you think about this colour-pop?
Not something I do a lot, but the colour of the water and the rest of the boat were very drab.

I second the remarks of George and Dr Mhuni - let's give the newly emphasised rules for entering and judging a chance before taking any really drastic action. Essentially the weekly competiton works well, its just unfortunate the inevitable problems seem to have come all at the same time.

Making the rules a bit clearer will help all the entrants, although I still like the idea of minimal rules.
I'm happy to leave the competition end time as midnight Sunday, but as there may be a lot of entries to judge, and we all want feedback, the judge should also be allocated some time.
I would say the judging should be completed by midnight on Monday, unless there are some unforeseen circumstances, which can happen !!
This will give the judge 24 hours to complete his / her task, although on the couple of occasions I had to judge, I started writing up details as soon as the first picture was posted.
I don't think this would cause too many problems as pictures may be entered from someone's 'back-catalogue', so you have 6 days to select one or shoot a new one ?
From the number of new users on this site, and the number of new users entering the weekly competition, I'm sure this Pentax User Forum has added to Pentax sales, so maybe they should pitch-in and offer weekly prizes of a K-7 for each winner ?
Anyone else think this is reasonable ???

I joined the 'PentaxUser' forums over 3 years ago, but had 'lurked' for a lot longer
You seemed to have joined less than a year ago, I remember some of your early posts, with your new Pentax equipment, some good, some bad.
But, you have come on 'leaps and bounds', and now you are selling some fantastic Pentax lenses, that I am sure you cannot possibly have used to the maximum.
I say that, because, I am still using some lenses that are over 30 years old, on my DS and K10D, and still finding that they astound me.
I really love the old 50mm's, I have about 5 or 6 variations of them, but I really love the, K - f1.2.
I may be wrong, but I'm sure you will regret the sale
I would love these lenses, and would willingly sell the wife's kidneys for them, but, as she is a decrepit old bitch with a swollen liver, bad legs, weak heart, ingrowing toenails, suffers from baldness, rickets, hookworm, swine flu, St. Vitus Dance and halitosis, my chances are slim

I might be tempted to clone out the discolouration on the bottom petal, but that is all.

A switch on the 17-70mm ?
Am I missing something ?

Not too worried about the quality, would just like to see the images.
Looks a bit like junk, but I would like to see what it outputs.
