I am slightly confused why anyone would want one. A battery grip gives you 1 extra battery but you could buy 4 genuine Pentax battery's for the price of one grip.
Personal preference. I bought a K5 (K7) partly for the size so for me (although I have a 3rd party grip - which I bought for the AAs but in fact I've never needed it and it is just extra bulk and weight) the K5(K7) without any grip is near perfect.I am slightly confused why anyone would want one. Beautiful set, #1,2,3 & the last for me.
After seeing your wonderful series on falcons and owls I really wish we had falconry centres over here

#3 - lovely, though I'd much prefer it in landscape orientation.
#2 - excellent but I agree, lose the vignette.
EDIT. oops, seems I'ma tad late on this one. Congrats Shaun !
And what's this about Bromborough - my home town !

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone considering the internet's most frequent use / most number of page hits is ... porn ! In fact I remember reading somewhere that that was in fact the original reason behind it's invention I've had another look at the Gallery 'most viewed' images, and in the top 100 there are only 2 shots that are not of naked ladies!

I use live view on my tripod almost all the time and can be taking 30 second exposures on my K5.
I get 700+ even from the copy batteries (I have 2xPentax and 3xothers) and I chimp all the time, and review and delete shots in the quiet moments. But I don't use Live View except in rare circumstances.
