Why did you let go the 7D and switch back to Pentax Pete ? Oh and welcome back home !

I used to be a fanatical golfer, played all over the UK, NIgeria, HK, Thailand, China. But because of photography (something my wife can at least participate in a little - though she's not a tog) it's almost gone, selling over all my clubs bar one set for the occasional chance I get to play a round. It is a rather selfish sport in terms of both time and cost (to your relationships as well as pocket) !

Nice review here - the Canon PIXMA MG8220 is the one I'd vote for as value for money (about $300). link

I have the Sigma 18-125 but haven't used it for more than a year. It is actually a decent lens with nice IQ and a great walkabout range but of course IQ is not as good as lenses costing x2 x3 more.

I have actually had it back in the UK all packed and ready to go for the last 6 months ! However I forgot all about it and so haven't put it up here in the marketplace yet, so if you are interested just PM me. It's in perfect condition (pics on my Smugmug below - under Test).

This is just a gorgeous gorgeous set. Wouldn't know where to start to critique these (there are just so damn many of them)

Agree with John ... that last one is a little bit more than special. #1 & #2 plus the one take with the 15 Ltd would fill out my Top 4.

I love Cornwall, I took my (Chinese) wife there for a few days when we were over there last visting our daughter. She thought it was gorgeous too and adored the seafood !

#3 and #7 for me but I'd like to see the contrast upped a little in both and a little dodging done to the boats in #7. Sometimes silhouettes just work and sometimes just a little more detail can make a pretty good photo pretty damn wonderful.

Very nice set.

The Sigma 150-500 and the Sigma 50-500 are both available in Pentax fit. These are both very big and are often nicknamed the Bigmas. Their image quality is pretty good, especially up to 400mm.
The Bigma is the Sigma 50-500. The 150-500 is called the Bigmos.

You are more than likely looking at the big Canon/Nikon 500mm and 600mm lenses. No Pentax equivalent unless you can find a 250-600mm zoom (fabulous). All of those long lenses mentioned above will cost you your first born and at least one kidney.
