sold on ebay, unfortunately!
Congratulations! I'm glad you sold it so easily

Shame you'll only net £186 after fees. If you'd offered it at that price here, I'm sure it would have gone even quicker!

The K10 had a CCD sensor whereas current models use CMOS sensors. The switch to CMOS technology allowed much higher ISOs, which was necessary to compete in the market, but many prefer the base ISO performance of the CCD.

I'd love another K10D. But I wouldn't give up my K-5ii either!

I've only read good things about Kerso / Flash Camera.

The only possible downside I can see is that his items are grey imports, so I've always presumed they'd have to go back to their country of distribution in the event they needed warranty attention.

I've got some stuff to take to the council recycling centre at the w/e, so last chance for someone to claim this before I drop it off there for environmental disposal.

Just a thought: Would you consider an off-brand alternative to the Pentax 16-50?

Tamron's 17-50 f/2.8 seems very well regarded but is considerably cheaper. Which would allow you to keep the 15 Ltd.

I dont know what's best for you but I certainly wouldn't carry around 15, 21 and 40mm lenses when my superb 16-50mm DA* 2.8 zoom covers that entire range.
But then I have an aversion to lugging heavy gear around all day on a photo shoot. That's why I dont have a grip attached to my camera bodies or bother with tripods either.
I like the freedomn to move around without hindrance of balancing lots of gear or constantly changing lenses.
...whereas I prefer using one of Pentax's small primes because I don't want to lug around a big 2.8 zoom around all day!

But it all depends. I shoot for enjoyment not income, and I enjoy looking for shots that fit the focal length of the day. But were I ever obliged to shoot an event, when I had to get a variety of shots to tell the story of the day, I would favour the zoom. At least that's how I ended up persuading myself I needed both.

I hope I haven't stepped on anybody's toes! After my disappointing experience last week trying to buy one of these I didn't hang about this time. Not that I hung about last week either.

I have to say weinelm has been great to deal with so far and if anyone is on the fence regarding buying the 21 I'd recommend him as a seller.

My K-5 II has locked up a couple of times without a grip attached (I don't have one). Both times it was with the SRS Hama battery installed, and I had to pull it out to switch off the camera. As a result I now use only the Pentax battery, and it hasn't happened since. (Though if it does at least I'll know I can go back to using the Hama!)
