Personally (and as a 'lurker' rather than a regular poster) I would prefer not to see profanity in the forum. Not least because it isn't really necessary - there are often better and cleverer ways to say things

Of course not. I was indeed referring to "focus confirmation". The red indicators are not as unrelated to focus confirmation as you describe them. When manually focusing, they pop up exactly when the AF sensor determines something to be in focus. As you say, the green hexagon is the final authority, but I cannot recall a case, when focusing manually, when the two indicators disagreed. You can't use auto focus with a manual focus lens.

The Magic Lantern Guide for the K10D specifically refers to using the red indicators to confirm focus as well.

Yes, received mine brand new unopened box, about a month ago. I was a bit surprised that they only packed it in a 'mail lite' envelope, but luckily there was very little damage to the box.May be heading the Curry's/Comet route in a week or so but I think If I can stump up a little more I may just skip, there's been a few of these stories circulating recently and I guess they may be down to the bottom of the 100mm macro Barrel?

In short, product perfect, box lightly damaged, packing awful.

This program allows quite 'extreme' contrast to be created (rather overblown HDR - which I quite like if I'm creating art rather than photography), but can also produce quite subtle HDRs. It's also very simple to use.
