The 'Plus' for me was the printed magazine. Since that was discontinued, I've just stayed with the 'free' option.

I'm now thinking about a new camera body and the K3 ii looks like it.
My question is, have other members here seen any seasonal change to prices as such?

I know that this is a new camera and so the price will drop as time passes but I wonder when that might happen and, for example, if I wait until after Christmas there might be a drop in prices generally?

From previous experience this hasn't been the case - depending on the exchange rate prices for Pentax lenses, for example, have bounced around over the last few years.

However, I'm still amazed that I only paid £525 for my 12-24 and that was in a January, even allowing for inflation.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I went to see the Oracle at Delphi recently and when I got there, there was just an old lady sat there wearing a wimple. So I said "Who are you?"
And she said, "I am Nun, the wiser".

I'm interested... Shall I just bid on EBay, or will you sell directly?

I would it sum up in so far as I still have my K10D.

(But I'd buy a K3 like a shot if I had the money.)

Coming late to this discussion. My K10 produces good quality images and I generally use it with manual lenses. As previously mentioned the old type sensor produces excellent smooth images up to iso 400.

Yes, I still have my K10D and Samsung GX10. I'd like better high ISO performance, but can't justify upgrading. I'll wait until one breaks.

John is quite right IMHO - I print up to A3+ and have some wonderful prints at this size from my K10D. Especially good is almost anything from the Pentax 12-24 and the 100 macro.
BUT, if I have to crop significantly (or ever print at A1 or bigger) then there simply aren't enough pixels available.
I'm now looking hard at the K5IIS - just need the money!
