I have that lens and have rarely used it. You've inspired me to stick it back on the camera. The last shot in particular really showcases it well.

I've never been to Iceland, but I prefer the original too. The adjusted version looks a little too unnatural to be true.

Today, I received my 25th approval for the Pentax Photo Gallery.

I then had news that Pentax are going to replace my troublesome K20D with a K7.

That's a very nice scene. My favourite is the first one with the rain splashes and a little more space around the features. However, I prefer the tone in 3.

For the cost of repairing the DA*16-50 lens you could buy a DA 16-45. I think the 16-45 is a cracker of a lens. Having seen the quality of some of my own pictures, and moreover, others' pictures on the Pentax gallery I'm often hard pushed to see much difference between the two (with the exception of some CA maybe.
