Thanks for all the comments, very encouraging. I'll continue to document our local towns.

Interesting selection of locations. I have spent quite a bit of time in Montevideo and enjoyed that section.

Traffic jam is a standout image, almost up there with Chip Shop.

These are great. Very vibrant and a lot of emotion captured.

I really like Poor, Rickshaw and Street Kids. I think Pensive would be terrific with a little more of the second passenger. To lose him would I think detract from the image.

I agree that there are plenty of run of the mill flower and/or insect photos - I have taken plenty myself. But rather than a general put down I would prefer to see examples of how it should be done. I have plenty of flower photos in my gallery and I'm more than happy for them to be criticised, preferably constructively, but I don't really mind. Why not also post some examples of your work.

Applied PHDark&LightBW preset in Lightroom, then reduced clarity, sharpening and noise reduction. Left a touch of beige. Cropped to a 16:9 'widescreen' ratio.

Congratulations Aliengrove.

I did do a version of the PEF but I couldn't do much with the camera shake then found it was the wrong photo anyway so didn't enter.
