I like them. I like the graduation of the sky in the second. I can just make out a couple of stars in the second image and I think it would great with a few more and viewed large. I'm not so keen on the central positioning of the telescope though.

It's a very difficult one. The expression and natural lighting on the face are really good.

But part of the reason why she is so happy is because of where she is so the environment comes with the photograph. And the bright hazy conditions are good portrait light but also result in a very bright background sky. I guess that's why photographers have studios. So you have a lovely portrait but not one for the purists. Sometimes you just have to accept those compromises or resort to pp trickery.

I really like the first four. My pick is the first. The second would be a close contender without the far left bamboo and protruding branch.

Not at all. I appreciate your panning technique, it sets the ideal standard for your portfolio.

Great detail in these. I appreciate stained glass window shots a lot now having had a go recently and finding it very difficult. I like the first one, with the prominent light patterns. I don't mind the angle as it comes with the territory.
