I really enjoy photography, and this forum is great outlet for me, but truthfully, I'd have nothing if it weren't for my soon to be wife Gerri.
I have learning disabilities and can't balance a checkbook if my life depended on it. You have no idea how long it takes me to write these posts. lol
I had nothing when we met, and my ex had run my photography business into the ground (she did the books) and sold and or destroyed all my stuff after the seperation.
Gerri was working with uatistic children and I have an autistic boy. she was running a photography business, right out of college, and I started out just helping her out, with advice, but I get to play with the equipment. One of my problems in life is that I obsess over gadgets and facts, and forget to maintain relationships with people. so I guess what I'm saying is evrything is really hers, until we can get my divorce finalized and get married.

Last weekend my significant other and I were window shopping. We got a chance to checkout both the sigma 10-20mm and the pentax fisheyezoom.
She's quite smitten with the pentax fisheye on our ist ds2...
now there's a deal on the table...I gotta sell two more weddings, and we'll get it.
WOOO-WHOOO!!!

I just took a closer look at the images in the link Mattmatic posted.
I would hope those new lenses pictured with the camera were kmounts...I wonder if the marketing dept would hide the switch to new internal af motors...my istds2 has the Saf/Caf/M function, without a switch by the lens mount.
A switch by the lensmount could also be marked "Kaf/UsmAf/M" and be geared to disengage the body af motor, to allow the new lenses to funtion and keep the old lenses....when it hits production.

do you remember the old power zoom lenses? pentax bodies have had the power to rum af motors in the lenses a long time ago. All that was required was cost/copyright issues on the lens motors. I imagine a switch on the lens would allow use of either af in body motor or some type of internal af (usm)motor.

I have found that a bean bag (I improvise- for some reason I can usually find a bag of unpopped popcorn and toss it into a velvety, purple Crown Royal bag. At the games I set my foot on my seat and the beanbag on my knee and fire away.
I do use an older sigma 400, but have to admit that every image needs sharpening and contrast and color fixes in order to fit in with my Pentax lenses' images.

I'm still stuck in the stone age, what with my business card attached to my flash with a rubber band. sometimes using my modelrelease forms as a paper softbox held on with a rubberband (couple quick folds...) same idea..
bouncing my flash off my white tshirt, or my collapsable reflector...

you obviousley don't have a mac....ilife suite is great.
But roxio has some nice pee cee software.
My sugesstion however is to always look for free software. as an example Wacom Graphire graphics tablets come with nik, and adobe imaging software that bought seperately would cost twice the price of the tablet...therefore if I were you I'd check out what comes bundled with a new sony dvd burner or video capture devices by ads, or pinnacle etc....

yes and both tiff and jpeg are file formats that are used after the camera or computer processes the RAW data.
Always wash your hands after handling RAW files...or was that meat?...I get confused...
