two points...
one: the rules are very informal, mono does not mean black and white...(at least to me.).
two: more oft than not, it's easier to ask forgiveness, than to ask permision.

I started out learning photography with a big box of old popphoto magazines that I got for a quarter at a yard sale. (of course there was also a second hand pentax k1000 bought for $20.00 from an old friend).
Feel like I knew him, all these years.

we do love to joke around, but people are helpfull too.
I'm just glad the humor from the other thread (with the canon guy) didn't carry over.......
I'd hate to see that happen to a sweet innocent Pentax lens....
