Hustl'n PlayBunnies....it's all about the photos, nobody reads the stories.

seriously, look for UK or Canadian magazines, anything from the US is basically paying for advertising flyers, with blatently biased "Reviews" that always favour the advertisers. I get enough ads stuffed into my mailbox without have to pay for a whole magazine full.

have you ever seen anything on tv or in the theatres where the camera stayed stationary for more than 45 seconds?

without cutting to another camera or shot?

Sorry Pentax....no sale.

I have the 200 mm lens on my list for this summers road trip.. but If the next dslr replacement for k20 doesn't have video to match nikon, I may jump ship.
Attracted by the video option I looked at the D90 before deciding on a K20D. The D90 video has no AF, and is limited to 5mins at a time, and suffers from major "wobble" when panning (bottom of the frame and top of the frame judder as they try to keep up with each other). Better off buying a compact HD cam by all accounts.
I have several high-def prosumer camcorders.
I want a cost effective alternative to one of these:

35mm lens adaptors for for shallow dof shots and rack focus.
the d90 would work fine for my needs, but hoping pentax brings out a competitive model....

Sorry Pentax....no sale.
video quality too low, and the lack of p-ttl flash controller mode for use with accessory flashes totally puts this one in the "Not in My camera bag" area. I'd feel better off with the Canon is5 and 430ex flash. or the g10 for that matter.....

if pentax kmount, then pentax flash, and pentax sister model....
stands to reason.

is it my imagination or does that hotshoe have one more pin than the pentax set up, and the locking pin in a different position?

non compatible with pentax (or proof of a not yet released new model, if it is)?

so if different flash, then no kmount either....

but if there is a new pentax flash in the pipes....then who knows...

I run a multimedia company, specializing in weddings.

anybody here care to share any thoughts or ideas or complaints on the subjects of Photographers, Videographers, DJ's.....

I'm interested in learning about what people would like or dislike for products and services.

I offer a package that covers stills, video, print, dvd and web based packages... but am always interest in learning more to help customers.

thoughts, experiences or suggestions on what brides want?

I'm thinking of adding "Barter" to our list of payment options during this economic crisis...for example.

A Bridge Camera with K mount interchangeable lenses would be an interesting beast.
yep not only would I buy it, but I'd have to buy some of those tiny pancake lenses to put on it.....
I think they look funny on a big slr....

Did you notice the EVF/LCD button - that's what make people think it must be a bridge camera I think.
choosing between viewfinders it is definately an evf camera, but would still be there on an slr....

I'm just thinking that a more rectangular lcd with flip out would make more sense for a bridge camera...

more curious about the smily face button....face detection????? surely that would mean video abilities?
in fact given the location of that button, I'd hope that if you pushed it and held the shutter that the evf (viewing, not zooming the lens) would zoom in on any faces it detects and snap the shutter when the subject smiles! easy for novices to get snaps that way.
